Palo Alto Networks Sr Supervisor HR Connect in Amsterdam, Netherlands

This person will provide HR administration support including, data entry, maintaining HR records and other tasks as assigned. Project management or participation experience is highly desired.

Key responsibilities:

  • Guide day-to-day decisions and course of action on critical, complex, or sensitive requests

  • Provide leadership and guidance of regional HR Connect team members and identify training needs

  • Accountable for ensuring high quality and frequency of information is shared within the team so they can accurately support employee inquiries

  • Ensure regional team has end-to-end understanding of business processes, providing support when needed

  • Monitor team workload to ensure appropriate back up/coverage when needed

  • Drive meetings that improve operational design, reporting or workflows in systems

  • Provide coaching and guidance to regional HR Connect team with new processes and communicate updates to team as necessary regarding work related changes

  • Act as primary escalation point for overall service delivery and internal team support. Communicate escalations to the manager as appropriate for awareness and further escalation

  • Resolve issues as they are identified and help to implement long-term solutions

  • Ensure process documentations is current, accurate and fully supports the achievement of service levels

  • Monitors and leverages metrics and trends to determine process improvement opportunities to improve employee experience, optimize service, and to gain efficiencies

  • Partner with other HR Teams to coordinate workflow and communication with key stakeholders; ensure seamless hand-off of processes and deliverables

  • Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires by ensuring all aspects of onboarding are completed accurately and timely including communication to new hires

  • Lead HR Operations projects by working with internal partners to ensure timely rollout and drive adoption

  • Assess team engagement and retention and actively work to identify, analyze, and improve any areas of concern

  • Act as a liaison and resource to identify training needs and/or coordinating professional development for regional HR Connect team

Required qualifications:

  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality

  • Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented with consistent follow up

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated success working with all levels in an organization

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and listening skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • General knowledge of HR functions including benefits, payroll, and HR programs

  • 5 + years’ experience in a fast-paced corporate HR environment

  • Bachelor’s degree; desired majors: HR Management, Psychology, Business, Communications

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, dynamic environment. Must be able to operate with limited direction

  • Ability to address immediate employee needs while maintaining a view to long term goals and the organization’s vision and objectives with a continuous improvement mindset

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with the following tools a plus: Workday, ServiceNow, and DocuSign

  • Prior experience in a capacity planning role, preferably within a high-tech environment
